Halfway between the châteaux of Blois and Chaumont-sur-Loire, the vineyard is located 3 km from the village of Candé-sur-Beuvron. It follows a long winemaking tradition that began around the year 1000 with the monks of the Abbey of Saint Lomer and that was later carried on by the lords of Madon in 1800.
