The Sauger Estate is a family vineyard since 1870 (5 generations). Philippe Sauger who manages the company after his parents, developed the vineyard and the equipment to make Cheverny whites, reds and rosés. Even if he uses traditional farming, he loves the innovation and tries to have wines with a really good quality.

Created by Anne-Marie and Luc Percher in 2005, l'Epicourchois is an estate of 9 hectares on the Appellations of Cheverny and Cour Cheverny. The mean age of the vines is 50 years old and they are on a sand and clay soil.This Sologne soil just near the Loire river gives freshness to the wines, fruitiness and minerality. We are three wine lovers doing an organic farming.

At the heart of the Cheverny and Cour-Cheverny appellations of origin in the town of Cheverny itself, the 25-hectare family estate is located on the route to the Loire castles (Chambord, Cheverny, Blois, and Troussay).
Three types of soil stand out: silico-clay (Sologne sands), silico-clay-limestone and gravel on faluns (former marine sedimentation), all on limestone bedrock.
The young and vigorous vines are grassed. Elsewhere, the land is plowed and cultivated. Manual harvest in order to sort the grapes and maintain their integrity.
In the cellar, the team limits itself to monitoring the different phases of winemaking, without technical artifice. The grape varieties are vinified separately, without yeasting and with a minimum addition of sulfur.

Dry and Lively wine. It goes well with fishes with sauce, seafood and goat cheese. To dink not too fresh between 12° and 14°C.

Started in 1931, the wine cooperative of the Winemakers of Mont Prés Chambord is situated in the heart of the Cheverny Appellation, between the Loire river and the Sologne, near the prestigious castles of Blois, Chambord and Cheverny. The cooperative does the harvest and the winemaking of its 21 members on 155 hectares of vines. It sells around 500 000 bottles every year and is today the first producer of Cheverny wines.
With its nice shining yellow color, this grape Romorantin (favorite grape of François Ist) has a ripe white fruits bouquet. Itsmouthis round, soft and wellbalanced. .
