The Cooperative Winery of the Vignerons of Mont-Près-Chambord was founded in 1931. It currently brings together around twenty member winegrowers who cultivate about 125 hectares of vines within 15 km of the village of Mont-Près-Chambord.
All the terroirs of the Cheverny and Cour-Cheverny AOC are represented and this contributes to the richness and balance of our cuvées: sandy soils along the Loire River (from Vineuil to Maslives) for aromatic and fresh wines, and deeper clay-siliceous and clay-limestone soils (around Cheverny and Fougères-sur-Bièvre) for round and full-bodied wines.
All our wines are crafted by our oenologist and bottled at our Mont-Près-Chambord cellar exclusively from the grapes of our member winegrowers.
